It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved founder, John Bates.
John left us peacefully, surrounded by his family, on 27 December 2024.
John was an inspiration to everyone around him, with a life full of highlights. After a career at sea, and over two-decades as an executive at SABCO, John opened ‘John L Bates & Associates’ (now JLB Management Consultancy). His influence continues with JLB flourishing in its fourth decade of operation, with its third-generation guiding the business.
